Currently based in Milan and Paris, I enjoy traveling the world to capture the essence of moments with my camera. Portraiture is my thing, but not the only thing. I also do travel, reportage, fashion and beauty.
My work has been published in Vanity Fair, l’Uomo Vogue, Vogue Sport, Marie Claire, Gioia, Grazia, Flair, Amica, D di Repubblica, l’Espresso, Madame Figarò, Elle, Glamour, Class, Max, Panorama and many other magazines.
Workshops, exhibitions and lectures are also starting to be part of my work.
No longer into PR (the agency that I founded many years ago was specialized in creating and launching new trends), I still share my experience in communication teaching master courses hoping that my students will use that knowledge to help Greenpeace, Peta and other humanitarian organizations rather that a multinational or a luxury brand. I have taught at the Ateneo Impresa Business School in Rome, the Marangoni Fashion School in Milan and London, the Istituto Europeo Design in Milan and Il Sole 24 Ore Business School in Milan.
The origin of my last name dates back to 1100, when – so the legend has it – a dragon called “il Grande Verme” terrorized the population of Verona in Italy.
An ancestor of mine killed the dragon and hence became known as Dal Verme.
I am not sure if I would have killed the beast… one of the best things I have learned in life is to get to know my fears rather than fight them.
One more thing: I love tofu!
